Crewe man charged with drink driving after BMW crashes into tree
A Crewe man has been charged with drink driving and driving without a license and insurance, after crashing a BMW into a tree.
On Sunday 23 July, Cheshire Police were called to reports of a collision on Kinloch Close, off Underwood Lane.
At around 3am, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a silver BMW 320 had collided with a tree.
Despite efforts to hide the vehicle, driver, Bartosz Miskiewicz, of Maxwell Street, was arrested at the scene for failing to provide a sample.
The 33-year-old has since been charged with drink driving, driving without a license and driving without insurance.
Miskiewicz is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 10 August.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 3am on Sunday 23 July police were called to reports of a collision on Kinloch Close.
"Officers attended the scene and found a silver BMW 320 had collided with a tree.
"There were no reports of any injures however the driver of the car was arrested for failing to provide a sample.
"Bartosz Miskiewicz, 33, of Maxwell Street, has since been charged with drink driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
"He is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Thursday 10 August."
