A Crewe man has been charged with causing a child to engage in sexual activity, with him next set to appear in court in July.

On Sunday 2 June, Cheshire Police were called to reports of a man who had committed sexual offences at an address on Walthall Street.

At 3:10pm, officers arrived at the scene, arresting a 42-year-old local man.

Mark Rose, of Walthall Street, has been charged with causing a child to engage in sexual activity (Nub News).

The 42-year-old appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday 4 June, where he was remanded in custody. 

Rose is due to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 2 July.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 3:10pm on Sunday 2 June police were called to reports of sexual offences at an address on Walthall Street.

"Officers attended and arrested a 42-year-old local man on suspicion of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

"Mark Rose, of Walthall Street, has since been charged with the offence.

Mark Rose, 42, is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 2 July (Wiki Commons).

"He appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday 4 June where he was remanded in custody. 

"He is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 2 July."
