Crewe man charged with 'failing to provide a specimen' after car overturns in town
A Crewe man has been charged with "failing to provide a specimen" after a Vauxhall Corsa overturned - following a collision in the town.
The incident on Gainsborough Road, happened at 9:34pm on Saturday 17 June - with emergency services rushing to the scene.
Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service arrived to find a black Vauxhall Corsa overturned - after it had collided with a white Kia Rio.
No one suffered any serious injuries, but the driver of the Vauxhall Corsa was arrested.
Cameron Reed, of Westminster Street, has since been charged with the offence.
He has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 6 July.
On Tuesday 20 June, Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.
"At 9.34pm on Saturday 17 June police were called to a collision on Gainsborough Road, Crewe.
"The incident involved a black Vauxhall Corsa and a white Kia Rio.
"The Corsa overturned as a result of the collision.
"There were no reports of any serious injuries, but the driver of the Vauxhall was arrested for failing to provide a specimen.
"Cameron Reed, of Westminster Street, Crewe, has since been charged with the offence and bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on 6 July."
