He posted on a Crewe community group: "Millcroft Medical Centre 795 calls and I still can't get through."

Crewe resident, Wendy Mountford, was appalled by the service.

She responded to the social media post, saying: "Absolute joke of a place and they are still accepting new patients all the time.

"Can't even cope with the ones they have."

After calling 795 times, Paul Grice took to social media to vent his frustration (Facebook).

Moderator of the group, Kyle Edge was understanding of the Crewe medical centre's situation.

He commented: "Not their fault. Blame the fact there's now so many new housing estates but not enough new GPs to handle the influx."

Mr Grice replied: "I'm just making people aware its better to go into the doctors instead of calling."

A number of Crewe residents on the group said they had been trying to get through to Millcroft Medical Centre since last week.

Millcroft Medical Centre is located on the first floor of Eagle Bridge Health & Wellbeing Centre, Dunwoody Way (Crewe Police).

One resident said they had tried to call them 685 times - others said they had also been trying all morning.
