Crewe man arrested after crashing stolen Nissan into two parked cars

A Crewe man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and damage, after crashing it into two parked cars in the town.
On Thursday 18 January, Cheshire Police received reports of a road traffic incident on Broad Street.
Around 7:20pm, officer arrived at the scene, discovering a white Nissan 370Z had collided with two parked cars.
The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man from Crewe, was arrested at the scene.
He was also arrested for driving without a proper licence, driving without insurance and driving while under the influence of cannabis.
The Crewe man has since been released on conditional bail.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 7.20pm on Thursday 18 January, officers responded to reports of a road traffic incident on Broad Street.
"Attending the scene, officers found a white Nissan 370Z had collided with two parked cars.
"The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man from Crewe, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and vehicle damage, driving without a proper licence and the use of a vehicle without insurance.
"The driver was further arrested after testing positive for cannabis during a drug swipe.
"He has since been released on unconditional bail."
