Crewe man, 32, arrested on suspicion of inciting child to engage in sexual activity

A Crewe man has been arrested on suspicion of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, after being reported by a child online safety team.
On Thursday 30 October, Cost Live attended an address on Holt Street, questioning a 32-year-old man for his online behaviour with a young girl.
At 8.40pm, Cheshire Police were called to the scene, arresting the man on suspicion of the sex offence.
The Crewe man remains in police custody, assisting officers with enquiries.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 8.40pm on Thursday 30 October, officers attended an address on Holt Street, Crewe,
"A 32-year-old man from Crewe was arrested on suspicion of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.
"Officers attended and arrested the man, who is currently in police custody assisting police with their enquiries."
