Crewe man, 28, arrested after alleged machete threats

A Crewe man has been arrested after police seized two large machetes following reports of a disturbance in Crewe West.
On Wednesday 8 July, Cheshire Police were alerted to a man making threats with weapons on Coppenhall Grove, off Victoria Avenue.
A 28-year-old man from the town was arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of a bladed article and criminal damage.
Officers also recovered and seized two large machetes from the property.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Response patrol officers were deployed to reports of a disturbance, and a male who was making threats with weapons.
"A male aged 28, from Crewe, was located at an address and arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of a bladed article and criminal damage.
"Two large machetes were also located and seized as the investigation continues."
Cheshire Police say enquiries remain ongoing.
