Crewe house boarded up after police uncover cannabis farm
A terraced property close to Crewe town centre has been boarded up, after Cheshire Police uncovered a cannabis farm inside.
On Monday 25 November, officers in Crewe received reports a cannabis farm had been located on Market Street.
Around 5.46pm, police attended the scene, discovering a number of cannabis plants inside.
No one was inside the property at the time, with officers appealing fo information on who the grow may belong to.
Police were in attendance for over four hours, with it now boarded up.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 5.46pm on Monday 25 November, officers in Crewe responded to reports that a cannabis farm had been located at an address on Market Street.
"Officers attended the scene and found a number of cannabis plants inside the address, which were subsequently seized.
"At the time of officers' arrival, no one was inside. No arrests have been made at this time.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website or on 101, quoting IML-1970710."
