CREWE Heritage Centre has announced its reopening date.

The town centre museum and railway experience is to throw open its gates again on Saturday, July 3.

Trustees at the Vernon Way centre chose not to resume the 2020 season when lockdown was eased last summer.

When they do open their doors again more a year on there will be Covid-secure measures in place to keep both visitors and team members safe.

There will be one-way systems, social distancing and regular deep cleaning.

A spokesperson said: "We would just like to say a big thank you to all of our visitors and team members for your support and patience during these difficult times, we can't wait to see you all again."

All season tickets bought for the 2020 season have been rolled over to include the remainder of 2021 but also all of 2022.

Brand new passes will be issued. See the centre's online shop.
