A Crewe takeaway located on a busy food stretch in the town has extended its opening hours - after getting a premises license approved.

GOGO Kebab, Nantwich Road, officially opened on Thursday (November 17) - replacing former takeaway Mama Mia which relocated to High Street in 2021.

The eatery applied for a premises license to be open until 1am (Sunday to Thursday) and 2am (Friday to Saturday).

GOGO Kebab, Nantwich Road, officially opened on Thursday (November 17) - replacing former takeaway Mama Mia which relocated to High Street in 2021 (Ryan Parker).

This was approved last month (December) - extending hours from the original closing time of 11pm (Monday to Sunday).

GOGO Kebab is run by a Turkish family living in Crewe - with four people operating inside and one member working as a delivery driver.

The new eatery sells a variety of fast-food, including: pizzas, burgers, fried chicken, garlic bread, omelettes and jacket potatoes.

It also sells calzones and has a selection of value boxes and kids meals.

In December, staff member and social media manager, Ramon Copak, confirmed it had taken several months to open the business.

He told Nub News: "We do nice pizzas in here. They are different to other takeaways as they are made in a traditional Turkish shape.

"We hope to employ more inside staff and another delivery driver once it gets busier."

GOGO Kebab has been popular with Crewe residents - especially following the recent closures of Babylon and Best Kebab, Nantwich Road.

The Turkish fast-food outlet offers a delivery service via its website, FoodHub and Just Eat.

GOGO Kebab is now open until 1am (Sunday to Thursday) and 2am (Friday to Saturday) (Ryan Parker).

So far, GOGO Kebab has received positive reviews - receiving a rating of 4.6/5 on both Google and Facebook.
