Crewe engineering college celebrates 100 per cent T-level pass rate

Students at Crewe Engineering and Design UTC, West Street, are celebrating fantastic T-Level results, with a 100 per cent pass rate. 

Students have received top marks for their T-Level and BTEC Engineering courses helping them secure a range of fantastic destinations in higher education and industry. 

Principal of Crewe UTC, Will Chitty, told Nub News: "The outcomes the students have achieved reflect the hard work and dedication of both the young people and the teachers.

Students at Crewe Engineering and Design UTC, West Street, are celebrating another year of fantastic T-Level results with a 100 per cent pass rate (Ryan Parker).

"In particular we are pleased to see all our students have secured a suitable destination with 60 per cent moving into apprenticeships and 25 per cent of our T-Level cohort securing a degree apprenticeship." 

Jess, a year 13 T Level Engineering student, achieved a Merit on her T-Level and has secured a degree apprenticeship with Balfour Beatty.

She said, "I am thrilled to be commencing a degree apprenticeship with Balfour Beatty as a civil engineer.

"The experience acquired from my T-Level, as well as the amazing assistance from my career advisor and the Governors gave me the motivation required to secure this next step.

"Without their invaluable help, through mock interviews and general support, I wouldn't have had the confidence to gain this opportunity." 

Jack, another year 13 T Level Engineer, achieved a Distinction on his T-Level and secured his degree apprenticeship with ECS.

He said, "I am thrilled to be starting a degree apprenticeship with ECS Consultants, building on the solid foundation and Industry experience gained through my T-Level that has given me the confidence and skills to take on this next step". 

Cedric, also a year 13 T-Level Engineer, achieved a Distinction on his T Level and secured his degree apprenticeship with Airbus.

He said: "The experience at Crewe UTC has helped me a secure my degree apprenticeship and has given me an excellent launch into my career."
