Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of a 26-year-old Tranmere Rovers striker - moving to the South Cheshire side on an 18-month contract.
Elliot Nevitt signed for an undisclosed fee on Wednesday evening (January 11), after completing a medical earlier in the day.
The Tranmere Rovers 2021-22 Player of The Season has enjoyed a rapid rise from non-league football in recent times.
Nevitt played for the likes of Burscough, AFC Liverpool and Bootle and hit a hat-trick at Wembley to help Warrington Rylands win the FA Vase in 2021.
These performances earned Nevitt a 12-month professional deal at Tranmere in 2021 - which was then extended until summer 2023.
Nevitt scored seven League Two goals in 40 appearances last season - also earning Supporters' Player of the Year and the Goal of the Season award.
The Liverpool-born hitman scored three goals in two matches against The Railwaymen earlier this season.
Crewe Alexandra are delighted to seal the services of Nevitt, who will go straight into Lee Bell's squad for the away trip to Mansfield Town on Saturday (January 14).
A club statement read: "Everybody at Crewe Alexandra would like to welcome Elliott and wish him all the very best during his time at the club."
Nevitt will wear the number 20 shirt.
Crewe Alexandra are hoping to make further additions to their squad this January Transfer Window.
