A well-established private Crewe care company 'run like a family' is searching for recruits of 'all ages and abilities' - to join its proud team. 

Bluebird Care Cheshire East, based at Scope House, Weston Road, has been successfully operating for over 16 years - launching in 2007.

Covering the entire district of Cheshire East, the private care company specialises in working with customers and their families who require care in their own homes.

Offering a bespoke range of personalised care options, the company's services range from short visits of 30-minutes upwards, to full live-in support.

Here, the care assistant lives with their customer, giving a real alternative to a residential care home.

Bluebird Care Cheshire East has been rated 'outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) since 2019 - continuing to maintain the sector regulator's highest possible score.

The care company covers all areas of Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Middlewich, Alsager, Holmes Chapel, Congleton, Macclesfield and Knutsford.

Joanna told Nub News: "We are passionate at Bluebird Care about helping to enhance the quality of life of our older community members in their own homes.

"Our services include all aspects of personal care like washing and dressing, assistance with medications, shopping, housework and companionship.

"We strive for excellence in fostering independence."

Joining the Bluebird Care team means receiving a thorough initial training programme from the highly supportive managers, who continue to supervise and support staff in the field.

Administrator, Louise Thorley-Fox, told Nub News: "Our care assistants regularly report that Bluebird Care feels very much like a family and it's a really supportive environment.

"There is so much opportunity for care workers to learn and gain social care qualifications."

"There are a significant number of long-serving staff in the team who have been with the company 10 years and longer."

Joanna said: "I think our culture is a great retention tool. Staff are well-treated and supported, both with their work and personally.

"Our registered manager, Bev Blakeman, who leads the operation has a caring, compassionate approach to her customers and staff alike."

Joanna added: "We are always looking for committed, caring individuals to join our team.
