Swansway Motor Group Chairman and Founder, Michael Smyth, has been recognised with a 'Lifetime Achievement Award' at the Motor Trader Awards 2025.

His son, Peter Smyth, accepted the award on his behalf at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Wednesday 19 November 2025, marking an important moment for the family-run business proudly headquartered in Crewe.

The recognition marks more than five decades of dedication to the motor trade, during which Michael has built Swansway Motor Group into a successful business, known for driving forward its commitment to supporting the local communities and its friendly customer service.

Founder of Swansway Motor Group, Michael Smyth, told Nub News: "I am truly grateful to receive this award. 

"The motor trade has been such a big part of my life and it's been an incredible journey to share with my family.
