An Art Deco style Crewe retail building has been listed on the market for just under half a million - a short walk from the town's railway station.

The commercial building on Mill Street, has been listed for a guide price of £400,000 on Rightmove.

This two-storey building is split into two units - occupied by Kitchen Place and Cut Price Wallpaper.

The building's total floor area is 10,000 sq.ft and is available by freehold (Rightmove).

Rightmove has given an online description of the property, saying: "Located in the prime trading position of Mill Street, Crewe, just a short walk to Crewe Train Station.

"13-21 Mill Street is a two-storey property, currently split into two separate units. 

"Unit one comprises of a ground floor of approximately 3500 sq.ft and a first floor of approx 5000 sq.ft 

"Currently owner occupied and sold with vacant possession.

"Unit two offers a ground floor showroom, warehouse and an integral garage comprising of approx. 1500 sq.ft."

The Mill Street building was formerly occupied by Lawton's furniture shop for many decades.

"Crewe train station is just a five-minute walk away and there are main bus links leading to and from surrounding towns.

"The A534 is just a short drive away which leads to the M6 motorway network."
