A CREWE charity that supports people with autism and their families has reopened its doors.
Autism Inclusive has been able to resume some of the services it provides such as weekly support groups, children's activities and gaming sessions from its new centre at the former MMU campus in Crewe.
The charity was previously based at Brierley Street Business Centre, but found expanded premises at the campus last August 2020 before lockdown forced services to close.
After reopening their doors earlier this month, charity staff were paid a visit by Crewe and Nantwich MP Kieran Mullan.
The MP was given a tour of the new facilities by co-chairs Gemma Moloney-Ridsdale and Elly Holstead, including the gaming room, sensory room, library and quiet room.
"It is amazing to see how the charity has expanded what it can offer children and families. They are definitely making the most of their new site - the plans for the outdoor area are also really exciting," said the MP.
Formed in 2014, Autism Inclusive offers support for those with autism, ADHD and other neuro-diversities and their families.
Co-Chair Elly Holstead said "We really want to raise awareness of the services we offer for people. We want this centre to help provide support and enjoyment for as many people as possible. I would encourage anyone who thinks this might be a place for them or their children to come to get in touch, give us a try."
You can find out more about the site and the services it offers by ringing 01270 214859 or visiting the charity's website.
