Crewe Alex's top scorer has praised organisers for the 'important' meet and greet opportunities with supporters - following a recent visit to Crewe town centre.
Dan Agyei visited the Crewe Alexandra RSS pop up shop, within Crewe Market Hall, on Thursday 2 March - taking photos and signing photos for supporters.
Crewe's top scorer was delighted to meet passionate Alex fans and spent time chatting to them as well as Nub News.
"Crewe Market Hall is a nice venue. It's really important the club are doing this. It gives fans the opportunity to meet players and get their signatures, said Agyei.
Agyei signed for Crewe in January 2022 under former manager David Artrell.
Since then, the 25-year-old forward has seen his side face relegation to League Two and have two different managers.
Agyei told Nub News: "I've enjoyed my time with Crewe so far. Getting relegated last season was tough.
"This season has been a lot more positive and we have improved on some things.
"It's been a mixed season for me so far - I've had more opportunities to score goals."
Agyei scored his 10th goal of the campaign away to Sutton United on Saturday (March 4).
The Alex number 11 is targeting to finish the season strongly and add more goals to his total - whether playing as a winger or striker.
Agyei said: "Growing up, I was always a striker. Playing as a winger was more of recent thing for the past five years or so.
"It's a position I do feel I have learnt well and do enjoy playing there.
"My tally right now is okay. There are plenty of games left to score more goals."
In the 2016/17 season, Agyei managed to make three Premier League appearances for Burnley - making his debut in the 88th minute against Liverpool.
All of Agyei's Premier League appearances came under current Everton boss, Sean Dyche.
Agyei added: "It was a surreal experience to play in the Premier League. Sometimes I look back and just remind myself I played in that division.
"My aim is to make it back to the Premier League one day. It was such a great time.
"Sean Dyche is a good gaffer. He is very hands on and direct with things.
"He gave me the opportunity to play in the top flight and I am forever grateful for that."
On Tuesday (March 7), Agyei was nominated for PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month for February.
The Crewe Alexandra RSS pop up shop is looking to get another player meet and greet event arranged for the near future.
