Crewe Alexandra have officially opened the application process for a new first team manager - with all interest required to be submitted by the end of the week.
On Friday (November 4), first team manager, Alex Morris, stepped down from the role for 'compassionate reasons' after 24 matches.
Former assistant manager, Lee Bell, was appointed Crewe's first team interim manager with immediate effect.
So far, the former Alex midfielder and club captain has won all three matches in charge - each by the score of 1-0.
Today (November 22), Crewe Alexandra confirmed they had officially opened the application process for a new First Team Manager.
A statement read: "The Board of Directors of Crewe Alexandra Football Club are formally requesting applications for the position of First Team Manager.
"Crewe Alexandra Football Club is an Academy-based club.
"Applicants are requested to send a CV along with a covering letter to [email protected] by 5pm on Friday 25 November 2022."
Current interim manager, Lee Bell, is expected to re-apply for the role and will be considered.
Crewe Alexandra will travel to League One Barnsley in FA Cup round two action on Saturday (November 26).
