Crewe Alex FC has appealed to the town's "diverse population," promoting a huge Christmas match ticket price reduction in four different languages.

The Railwaymen are set to host A.F.C Barrow on Friday 22 December (7:45pm), aiming to hit 8,000, making it the biggest home attendance of the season.

The words: "It's Christmas come early," have been translated into the four languages, as well the festive fixture ticket prices.

Children aged 11 and under are free to attend the game, with adults (over 18s) priced at just £10.

Under 18s prices have also been slashed to just £5, making this match a night out for all the family.

Director of Crewe Alex and Railwaymen Supporters' Society representative, Mark Beavan, told Nub News: "The Alex hold a privileged position within the heart of the local community.

"Crewe town has a rich and diverse population and we want the football club to reflect the people we represent.
