Cheshire's only French street food and tacos eatery has successfully launch in Crewe, also offering freshly-sourced meat, along with gluten-free and vegeterian options for "very satisfied" customers.

Globites Urban opened its doors at Crewe Market Hall, Earle Street, on Wednesday 25 March, with owner Sal taking the town by storm with his "unique" concept.

The 29-year-old Crewe resident, originally from Morocco, who recently became a dad to a baby boy, aims to make Globites a UK franchise with sights set on another branch in the town.

Sal told Nub News: "I have lived in Crewe for six years now. I met my wife here and we have recently had a baby boy born here too, who is now five months old.

"This town holds a special place in my heart, the people here are really lovely. Before this, I was working as a French translator and ended up staying here. I also previously played football for Crewe Town FC.

"I have experience in food management and wanted to do something different. Two generations of my family live in France and I am originally from Casablanca in Morocco.

"France and Morocco have a lot of history and I saw how the French tacos were done and trained in making them to make a business.

"Before this venture in Crewe, I operated in Macclesfield but wanted to open a business in the town where my family resides.

"I had been searching around for a place to launch Globites, with the name coming from the simple concept 'global' and 'bites.'

"We specialise in French street food but also offer dishes from other backgrounds like shawarma, blended with our own Globites recipe and taste. Our cheesy sauce is totally unique.

"We source our meat from quality, trusted local butchers, making everything fresh. Our portions are well-sized and expertly crafted."

As well as French tacos, Globites Urban, which operates in the former Mighty Burger Club unit (MBC), offers crousty bowls and worldwide flavours.

Sal said: "The feedback from our very satisfied customers since opening in Crewe has been absolutely wonderful. We haven't recieved one single bad review and we will strive to keep that up.

"I am trying to make everyone happy and offer something different. The fact we are only only place in Cheshire serving French tacos and one of the only eateries in the UK serving crousty bowls, I believe we are on to something.

"Our French chicken is gluten-free, with only fresh onions used with our cheesy sauce. We also offer homemade falafel as a vegetarian option.

"People get bored of the same kind of wraps and tacos. Our French tacos are totally different, made up of a large wrap, filled up with fresh meat, chips and our secret recipe cheesy sauce, without salad.

"In my first three weeks at Crewe Market Hall I am delighted with how business has gone. I am currently looking at opening another outlet somewhere else in Crewe."
