Cheshire man jailed after smashing up Crewe woman's property in spate of attacks
A Cheshire man has been jailed after he smashed up a Crewe woman's property in a spate of attacks, including a window, television, door and car windscreen.
Cameron Curzon of Swanlow Lane, Winsford, was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Monday 3 July.
The Crewe court said the offences were so serious 'only a custodial sentence can be justified' due to his previous record.
The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to damaging a window, causing around £500 worth of damage, at a property in Crewe on 8 May this year.
A sum of £500 in compensation will be deducted from Curzon's benefits.
No order for costs was made as Curzon has 'insufficient means', the court heard.
Curzon admitted to destroying a television, causing £50 worth of damage on 1 April, this year.
The Winsford man also pleaded guilty to damaging a car windscreen on December 24, last year, and an internal wall inside a Crewe property, between April 1 and May 1, this year.
Crewe Magistrates' took Curzon's guilty pleas into consideration when imposing the custodial sentence.
