A charity shop is looking for volunteers to help run a new Crewe town centre 'value store' this January, relocating from a smaller unit.

British Heart Foundation, 22 Victoria Centre, is moving to Unit D Victoria Centre (formerly BHF Furniture and Electrical Store) on Friday 10 January.

Becoming a brand new 'value store,' the first of its kind for BHF, customers will be able to enjoy a variety of books, fashion accessories, homeware, music and entertainment and more.

British Heart Foundation will be closing its 22 Victoria Centre unit for its new 'value store' (Ryan Parker).

This relocation comes after BHF Furniture and Electrical Store relocated from Unit D Victoria Centre to Unit A The Market Shopping Centre in September 2023.

Retail volunteering manager at BHF, Kirsten Lee, told Nub News; "The British Heart Foundation is really excited to be opening our new Value Store in the Victoria Centre on Friday 10 January.

"We urgently need volunteers to help us run this fantastic shop, and to help us raise vital funds to fight against cardiovascular disease.

"We have some really exciting volunteer roles for the stockroom, book department, cash desk sales floor, fashion accessories department, homeware and music and entertainment.

"We are completely flexible, so if you sign up to one role, it doesn't need to stop there. Any time that you can give to us will really help.

This relocation comes after BHF Furniture and Electrical Store relocated from Unit D Victoria Centre to Unit A The Market Shopping Centre in September 2023 (Ryan Parker).

"Volunteers will learn new skills (as well as developing and sharing your own). They will be given a full induction and training.

"They will have the opportunity to develop in their role, and train for others if they want to.

"Our volunteers also get travel expenses reimbursed, full support and access to the Retail Trust

"They also get a 25 per cent discount on donated goods in any British Heart Foundation shop, and a 10 per cent discount on new goods.

"Also, they get aaccess to a discounts platform to save them money on shopping, mobile contracts, cinema tickets and access to a 24/7 virtual GP.

"We are also having an open afternoon on Monday 5 January from 1pm to 3pm. Please come along and find out more, we will have tea, coffee and snacks.

"We look forward to seeing you soon."
