Music lovers in Crewe are being invited to turn back the clock for a great cause, as a special charity concert comes to The Waverley Hotel this spring.

The fundraising event will take place from 7.30pm to 11.30pm on Saturday 7 March at the popular Pedley Street venue, bringing together live music, community spirit and support for mental health.

Headlining is 'That 80s Show,' featuring Adi Moscati and Sam Ellis, delivering a high-energy tribute to some of the biggest and best-loved songs of the 1980s.

The concert is raising vital funds for Mind, the UK mental health charity dedicated to ensuring that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

As well as the live music, guests will also have the chance to take part in a raffle on the night, with exciting prizes up for grabs and all raffle proceeds going to Mind.

The event builds on the success of previous charity concerts at the venue, which have already raised impressive sums for national charities, including £1,327 for Macmillan Cancer Support, £811.34 for the British Heart Foundation, and £726 for the Alzheimer's Society.

A spokesperson for the concert told Nub News: "These nights are always about more than just the music, they bring people together while raising money for causes that really matter.

"We're proud to be supporting Mind this year and hope the community will come along, enjoy a fantastic 80s soundtrack and help us make a real difference."

Tickets cost £12 per person, with £2 from every ticket donated directly to Mind.

They are available from The Waverley Hotel reception, by calling 01270 256223, or by emailing  [email protected].
