Car remains in hedge following 3.30am Crewe crash

A car currently remains in a hedge on a busy road in Crewe, after ploughing through it at 3.30 in the morning earlier this week.

On Wednesday 9 April, Cheshire Police received reports of a collision on the B5472 Weston Road, close to the junction with Main Road.

At 3.30am, officers discovered a Volkswagen Golf TSI had lost control at the junction and ploughed through a hedge.

No one was injured in the incident, with no arrests made.

The Volkswagen remains at the scene of the incident as the owner arranges his own recovery. 

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 3.30am on 9 April, police were called to Weston Road, Crewe, following reports a car had left the road and collided with a hedge.

"There were no reports of any injuries."
