Car bursts into flames on major road in Crewe

Fire crews have put out a serious blaze, after a car burst into flames on a busy road in Crewe.
Around 8.40am on Friday 18 July, a silver Vauxhall Corsa combusted from the front on Dunwoody Way, close to the junction with West Street.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the flames within 10 minutes.

No one was injured in the incident, with a father and son fleeing the vehicle before the flames engulfed the car.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire.
West Street was closed up to the traffic lights near Dunwoody Way, with the roads reopening around 10.45am.
Motorists were diverted through side streets during the incident, with delays building in nearby residential areas.

A Cheshire Police spokesperon told Nub News: "At 8.43am on Friday 18 July, police were called to reports of a vehicle Fire on Dunwoody Way/West Street.
"Officers are in attendance managing traffic, although the incident is not believed to be suspicious."
