Body of 17-year-old male from Crewe found in brook at park

The body of a missing 17-year-old from Crewe has been found in a brook at Queens Park - with his next of kin being informed.

Last night (December 7), a 17-year-old was reported as missing from his address in Crewe.

Cheshire Constabulary officers immediately began looking for the teenager, with assistance from a drone, dog unit and specialist search officers.

Officers pulled the teenager from the water and commenced CPR however he was sadly pronounced dead at hospital (Ryan Parker).

A police helicopter, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics all assisted.

At 3:24am today (December 8), the 17-year-old male's body was discovered in a brook inside Queens Park.

Police quickly pulled him out of the water and commenced CPR.

The teenager was sadly pronounced dead in hospital. His death is not believed to be suspicious

Today (December 8), Cheshire Constabulary confirmed the incident to Nub News.

Last night (December 7), a 17-year-old was reported as missing from his address in Crewe (Crewe Police).

A spokesperson said: "At 9.10pm on Wednesday (December 7), police received a report of a missing 17-year-old from an address in Crewe.

"Officers looking for the teenager were assisted by a drone, dog unit, specialist search officers, police helicopter, Cheshire Fire and Rescue and paramedics.

"At 3.24am this morning, a young male was found in a brook in Queens Park.

"Officers pulled him from the water and commenced CPR however he was sadly pronounced dead at hospital.

"The death is not believed to be suspicious and officers are investigating the circumstances to compile a file for the coroner.

The death of the Crewe teenager is not believed to be suspicious (Crewe Police).

"Next of kin have been informed."
