A BABY needed hospital treatment after a collision between three vehicles in Willaston.

Paramedics and fire crews attended the scene at Cheerbrook Road yesterday, just after 9am.

Cheshire Police said a white Volvo V40 and a white Volkswagen Van were involved in the collision and two adults, including the driver of the van, and a baby were taken to hospital "as a precaution".

"They are not believed to have sustained any serious injuries," said a spokesperson.

Two fire engines attended, one from Audlem and one from Nantwich, and officers made the road safe and handed the casualties into the care of the paramedics.
