Award-winning singer with recording studio in Crewe performs at Christmas concert
An award-winning singer songwriter with a recording studio at his Crewe home - played to a packed audience in a local church.
Haslington resident, Robert Wheeler, performed at St Bertoline's Church, Barthomley on Saturday night (December 3) - for his Christmas concert.
In 2021, Mr Wheeler picked up Songwriter of the Year in the ARC Radio Listener awards.
He recently came back from Nashville, U.S.A, where he was recording a new album.
Mr Wheeler built his own recording studio at his home in Haslington and attended Alsager School.
The singer comes from a generation of musicians and is a huge fan of Christmas time.
Mr Wheeler told Nub News: "Christmas is important for me and I genuinely love it because my mum made it such a special time of year for me as a youngster."
Saturday night was full of festive cheer as Rob played a variety of his own songs plus some Christmas favourites from other famous musicians.
