An application to convert a former Crewe charity shop into an eight-bed HMO was withdrawn from Cheshire East Council's planning agenda.
The application to change the use of the former Castaways shop on West Street into a house in multiple occupation had been recommended for approval by the council's planners.
It was due to be determined by Cheshire East's southern planning committee on Wednesday 9 September.
The Local Democracy Reporting Service was told it could not be considered because the council had not received all the relevant paperwork.
The application is expected to be considered at a future date.
