Appeal after person smashes Crewe car window and searches through it
Cheshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a person smashed a Crewe car window and searched through the vehicle, without stealing any items.
Between 9pm on Tuesday 28 January and 10am on Wednesday 29 January, a blue Fiat Panda had its rear window smashed on Gainsborough Road.
At 11.20am on January 29, officers were made aware of the crime committed by an "unknown offender."
Anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 2015876.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 11.20am on Wednesday 29 January, police were called to reports of a theft from a motor vehicle on Gainsborough Road.
"The caller reported an unknown offender had smashed the rear window of a blue Fiat Panda and searched through the car, no items were stolen.
"The incident is reported to have occurred sometime between 9pm on 28 January and 10am on 29 January.
"Anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 2015876."
