A500 to close overnight until next week for road marking works

The A500 Shavington Bypass is set to close overnight until next week, allowing road marking works to take place.
From Wednesday 23 July, the A500, between Cheerbrook Roundabout and Meremoor Moss Roundabout, will close between 7pm and 6am every night until Monday 28 July.
Cheshire East Highways are responsible for the works, removing and replace some of the road marking.
This comes part of work to fix issues with surface dressing works carried out last year and done again this June.
The work is weather dependent and is being completed at no additional cost to the council.
Emergency access will be maintained where possible.
