A 66-year-old pedestrian was treated by paramedics - after being hit by a vehicle on a Crewe town centre car park.

The incident on Heritage Retail Park, Forge Street, happened outside Home Bargains and Dunelm on Thursday (January 12).

A 66-year-old woman was involved in a collision with a silver Volkswagen Polo.

The 66-year-old woman was handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service paramedics (Google).

No arrests were made following the incident.

On Monday (January 16), Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.

A spokesperson said: "At 2.50pm on Thursday (January 12), police were called to reports of a collision outside Home Bargains, on Forge Street, Crewe.

"Officers attended the scene and found that a 66-year-old pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a silver Volkswagen Polo.

"The woman was treated by paramedics. No arrests were made."
