18-year-old man 'taken to hospital' after coming off motorbike in Crewe

An 18-year-old man is recovering in hospital after 'coming off' his motorbike on a busy road in Crewe - close to a cemetery entrance.

The incident on Minshull New Road, happened at around 9:30am on Monday 13 March - near to the entrance of Meadow Brook Cemetery.

Cheshire Police officers and North West Ambulance service paramedics quickly arrived the scene.

The 18-year-old man was taken to Leighton Hospital - suffering only minor injuries from the incident on Minshull New Road (Ryan Parker).

Emergency services found an 18-year-old man has come off his motorbike and was injured.

The 18-year-old man was taken to Leighton Hospital for further checks - suffering from minor injuries.

At 4pm on Monday afternoon, Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.

A spokesperson said: "Officers were called at around 9.30am to Minshull New Road, following reports that an 18-year-old man had come off his motorcycle.

Members of the public supported the man on Minshull New Road while emergency services arrived (Ryan Parker).

"He was taken to hospital for further checks to the minor injuries unit."
