10-year-old girl escapes serious injury after being hit by BMW in Crewe

A 10-year-old girl escaped from serious injury in Crewe, after being hit by a BMW in school run traffic.

On Thursday 2 May, Cheshire Police received reports of a collision on Valley Road, near to The Woodside pub.

At around 8:51am, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a 10-year-old girl had been hit by a black BMW.

Thankfully, the girl only sustained minor injuries to leg, requiring no treatment.

The driver of the BMW, a 41-year-old woman from Wistaston, was uninjured, with no arrests made.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 8.51am on Thursday 2 May, officers in Crewe responded to reports of a collision in the town.

"Attending the scene on Valley Road, officers found the collision involved a 10-year-old girl and a black BMW.

"The girl sustained very minor injuries to her leg, but this required no treatment.

The driver of the BMW, a 41-year-old woman from Wistaston, was uninjured, with no arrests made (Cheshire Police).
