CREWE Alex Ladies played out a six-goal thriller against Mersey Rail Ladies at the Cumberland Arena.

Meg Booth scored twice in Sunday's Women's North West Premier fixture as Crewe led 2-0 - with Loren Cooper also on the mark - before they were pegged back by the visitors.

Booth then restored the lead and was inches away from finishing off a cross for her hat-trick after Mersey Rail levelled in the closing stages.

Crewe-based photographer Peter Robinson was at the Cumberland and took the gallery of pictures above.
