Family-run Crewe company reaches £100k donation mark with children's charity

A large family-run Crewe company has reached the £100,000 donation mark with a popular charity - supporting disadvantaged and disabled children.
On Tuesday 4 July. Swansway Motor Group announced it had surpassed £100,000 in donations to the non-profit organisation, Circus Starr.
This milestone donation comes in the seventh year of the partnership between the car dealer group and Circus Starr.
Swansway Motor Group has been raising money through the sale of motability vehicles.
It has donated £25 per vehicle sold to cover the cost of a ticket for a child and their carer to attend a Circus Starr show.
To raise £100,000, Swansway Motor Group have sold over 5,000 Motability vehicles since 2016.
This is the first time an organisation supporting Circus Starr has reached £100,000 in donations.
The two parties celebrated this milestone achievement together at the Circus Starr show hosted at the Swansway Stadium, home of Nantwich Town FC on Monday 12 June.
This event was held with members from Swansway Head Office, including director David Smyth- with Crewe Audi and Crewe SEAT in attendance.
Swansway Motor Group team members have also attended the Oldham, Stockport, Chester and Wrexham tour dates.
Communications and engagement manager at Circus Starr, Sarah Hall, was delighted with the support from Swansway Motor Group.
She said: "We are overwhelmed at the support we have received from Swansway Motor Group over the last seven years.
"To reach such a milestone figure in their donations is something we have never experienced before and we are incredibly grateful for their support.
"It has been brilliant to celebrate with the Swansway team across the country, we've loved having their team at our shows and it was fantastic to celebrate at the Swansway Stadium."
Swansway Motor Group director, David Smyth, was proud to celebrate the 100,000 donation mark.
Mr Smyth added: "It's our pleasure to reach the £100,000 donation mark with Circus Starr and it's been wonderful to celebrate this milestone achievement together.
"Over the last few weeks, many of our team members have been able to see first-hand the importance of Circus Starr's work."
