Are you up for the challenge? Join the Swansway Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge today.

Following on from two successful years, the Swansway charity event returns for a third consecutive year and this year, it's bigger than ever.

With an aim to beat last year's fundraising total of £9,373 and reach a new target of £12,000, the Enterprise Challenge is expanding and you could get involved.

Each team that enters will be given £50 with the aim of turning it into as much money as possible through whatever means that is safe, ethical and legal, but most importantly fun.

Working together, this is a fantastic team-building task that inspires creativity whilst supporting the Stoke-based charity The Gingerbread Centre, whose work supports homeless families in the Staffordshire and Cheshire areas.

Running from Monday 12 June until Friday 21 July, this six-week window gives teams as much or as little time as they would like to carry out their fundraising challenges.

In previous years, teams have hosted car washes, duck races and created and sold ginger-themed deserts.

One team even enlisted the help of local ice cream van manufacturers to sell ice creams to their colleagues.

MD at WoolCool Limited and previous entrant of the Swansway Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge, Josie Morris, said:

"Taking part in the Swansway Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge was a great way for our team to do something different in their day and build bonds.

"As well as the team having fun, we knew it was for a fantastic local charity which made the decision to get involved a no-brainer."

This year, the challenge is expanding with the addition of a new category for schools.

The Swansway Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge is the perfect opportunity for any school to encourage creativity and the development of new skills, in a fun and safe setting - allowing the children to work as a team alongside their fellow pupils.

Fundraiser at The Gingerbread Centre, Chris Belyavin, said:

"We are delighted to be returning with The Swansway Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge and are looking forward to welcoming new teams to the challenge."

Swansway Motor Group director, David Smyth, added: "It's our pleasure to once again sponsor the enterprise challenge.

"Last year we had three teams sign up from our Crewe-based head office and there was a real buzz around head office and between the three teams.

"Our hope is that other employers and now schools get to experience the same fun and excitement whilst raising money for a fantastic cause."

Swansway Motor Group director, David Smyth, is delighted with the Swansway Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge (Swansway Motor Group).
