Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a growing business based in Crewe, seeking a talented PHP Developer to join their in-house team. This is a full-time, office-based position - ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating face-to-face, brainstorming ideas, and solving problems as part of a dynamic team.
The team builds a range of web applications across the finance and travel sectors. You'll be involved in maintaining existing products and developing the next generation of platforms - plenty to get stuck into.
Key Duties:Maintain and develop PHP-based web applications.
Work with SQL databases (MySQL/MariaDB).
Design, build, and integrate APIs.
Collaborate on front-end integrations using frameworks such as React or Vue.
Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Manage time effectively and maintain high attention to detail.
Experience with PHP (Laravel and core PHP).
Strong understanding of SQL databases.
Proven experience working with APIs.
Some knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
A proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent time management skills.
