The Company

As part of continued investment in their technology function, they're now looking for an experienced C# / .NET Developer to join a friendly, collaborative development team based in Crewe.

The Role

You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern applications and APIs used by customers around the world. Working within a microservices-based architecture and using the latest .NET technologies, you'll help build high-quality, reliable software that underpins a range of critical business services.

Day to day, the role will involve:

  • Designing and developing new features using C# and .NET Core
  • Building and integrating APIs and external data sources
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing systems and microservices
  • Writing and maintaining robust unit and integration tests
  • Taking part in peer code reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues collaboratively

About You

We're looking for a developer who takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code and enjoys working in a supportive, agile environment. You'll be curious, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of your work while contributing to a wider team effort.

You'll ideally have:

  • 2-4 years' commercial experience with C# and .NET Core
  • Strong understanding of Web API development
  • Experience with relational databases and ORM tools (e.g. Entity Framework, Linq2DB)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery, and Git
  • Exposure to Docker and cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
  • A genuine interest in learning, improving, and collaborating
