This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to teach Business across Key Stages 4 and 5, in a school that values innovative teaching, academic rigour, and real-world learning.
The Role:You will take on a full teaching timetable within the Business department, delivering a well-structured and engaging curriculum to pupils working towards GCSE and A-Level qualifications. The successful candidate will bring energy, subject knowledge and a passion for equipping students with the commercial awareness and critical thinking skills they'll need beyond school.
This post is suitable for both experienced practitioners and newly qualified teachers (ECTs) with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in Business Education.
Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality Business lessons in line with the national curriculum and exam board specifications
Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Create an inclusive and purposeful classroom environment that promotes achievement
Contribute to departmental planning, resources, and wider school initiatives
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
Experience teaching Business at KS4 and ideally KS5
A strong understanding of current trends in Business education and assessment
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A commitment to continued professional development and team collaboration
