Eddi Reader, Nantwich Words and Music Festival

Nantwich Civic Hall

UNTIL Saturday 16th October

Eddi Reader plays the Nantwich's Words and Music Festival on Saturday, October 16.

The Scottish singer-songwriter is celebrating 40 years in the music business which include a UK No 1 with Fairground Attraction's 'Perfect'.

Her solo pop and folk work is varied and includes singing at the re-opening of the new Scottish Parliament building and recording an album of material by Robert Burns.

The festival organisers say: "Eddi Reader has effortlessly developed into one of popular music's most thrilling and affecting performers and makes a welcome return to the festival."

In its 14th year the Words and Music Festival makes a return from October 11 to 17 after last year's pandemic cancellation with the legendary 'Whispering' Bob Harris, Danny Baker and John Cooper Clarke leading the line-up.
