There is a Fun Palace Open Day at Crewe Lyceum Theatre this Sunday (October 2).

Sharing skills, connecting communities, creating tiny revolutions.

The Lyceum is once again throwing open the doors for a Fun Palace this October. The Lyceum's Young Ambassadors are organising and hosting a community day like no other, where you can explore the theatre, learn new skills and take part in a fun-filled day.

What is a Fun Palace? A Fun Palace is an event organised by local people (the Theatre's Young Ambassadors) for people locally. Fun Palaces showcase arts, science, craft, tech, digital, heritage, sports events or activities - culture at the heart of the community. The Fun Palace is free to enter and our goal is to provide inclusive activity for all ages.

The Fun Palace takes place during a national Fun Palaces Weekend, from 30 September - 2 October. You can find out more about Fun Palaces and view other events taking place across the country on their website funpalaces.co.uk.

This free event runs from 11am until 4pm.
