There will be a poetry reading event held at Waterstones, Victoria Street, this Saturday (August 6).

Special guest, Crewe born, Gareth Williams will be reading from his first poetry collection - Life Poems About Crewe.

This collection is a passionate and emotive, sideways look at our fantastic town.

The poetry has an optimistic view, alongside an upbeat narrative - matching Gareth's distinctive style.

This free event in Crewe town centre runs from 1pm to 2pm.
