UNTIL Sunday 12th November
Remembrance Sunday, which falls on Sunday 12th November in 2023, is a day for the whole nation to remember and honour those who sacrificed their lives to secure and protect our freedom.
The event commemorates the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars, later conflicts such as the Falklands War, the Gulf War, and other conflicts such as those in Afghanistan and Iraq. Crewe's Remembrance Services are organised by Crewe Town Council in partnership with the Royal British Legion.
This year, the Remembrance Service will be held on Memorial Square, Crewe town centre on the morning of Sunday 12th November 2023.
PLEASE NOTE: The gathering point and parade route has been changed to accommodate the proposed demolition of the old library which is being carried out by Cheshire East Council. The Parade will muster at 10:30am at the Market Sheds on Lyceum Square, leading to Memorial Square.
Please use alternative public car parks to the Civic Centre/Library car park (free parking on Sundays).
