William Joiner 'Bill'

The funeral has taken place of the late Bill Joiner aged 93 years and from Crewe. A Celebration of Life Service was held at Crewe Crematorium led by celebrant Mr Steven Linde. The eulogy was present by Bill's grandson Jeff revealing that he was born and raised in London's East end, was evacuated to the countryside during World War 2 before returning to work in London for several years.

Bill had 2 children Bob and Lynn and went on to have 7 grand children. Throughout his life Bill was a diehard supporter or West Ham Football Club and at the funeral service their anthem 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles' was played, sung by the 1975 team squad.

Generous donations were received to support the work of The Alzheimer's society.
