Maureen Hemsley

The funeral has taken place of the late Maureen Hemsley aged 83 years who passed away in the devoted care of staff at Primrose House Nursing Home, Haslington.

A celebration of Life Service at Crewe Crematorium was conducted by celebrant Steven Linde on the Wednesday 7 February.

Maureen was the beloved wife of the late Peter Hemsley and much loved mum to David and Martin. She was born in West London in 1940 and evacuated to Sussex during WW2.

Trained as a typist Maureen spent much of her working life in the South in typing and administrative roles. On retirement she and Peter moved to Haslington where they spent many happy years.

Mourners included Maureen's 2 sons and daughter in law, friends, neighbours and carers from Primrose House.

Donations were received for Alzheimers UK.
