Donald Pitwell

The funeral has taken place of the late Donald Pitwell aged 77 years from Shavington.

A Celebration of Life Service was conducted by Mr Steven Linde, followed by cremation.

Don was born in Willesden, London and moved to Devon when he and his wife Jan bought a hotel in Paignton. They later retired to France where Don enjoyed tending a large garden and playing golf.

After a long illness forced a return to the UK Don passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family. Mourners at the Celebration of Life Service included Don's wife Janet, his children Amanda, Angela, Andrew, Adam and stepson Lee.
