Marie-Claire, aged 82 years, and from Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire passed away in hospital following a short illness.
The much-loved mum to Lionel and Juliet, Marie-Claire will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered.
In accordance with the wishes she expressed before her death Marie-Claire's funeral will be a private family service. She will be buried in a woodland grave at Keele Cemetery as she was spiritual in nature and loved the countryside.
Her memorial will be a native British tree planted at the head of the grave.
