PLANS have been submitted to transform derelict former newspaper offices in Crewe's High Street into living accommodation.
The one-time premises of the Crewe Chronicle have been empty since owners, Trinity Mirror, relocated its staff to offices in Victoria Street in the mid noughties.

SEVERAL hundred people enjoyed a fun afternoon at Shavington Village Festival.
Main Road was closed to traffic to accommodate stalls run by local organisations and charities, including the parish council, Methodist Church, Friends of Shavington Primary School, Co-op Member Pioneer Ben Wye, 2nd Shavington Brownies and St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice.
