In February of this year, all of us were being made aware of a dreadful virus, firstly named Corona, and how it was affecting people in various parts of the world but none of us realized that we weren't prepared for such a situation either internationally or locally.

DAVIES - CHRISTINE ANN passed away peacefully, aged 73 years, on November 25th, 2020 after a short illness, surrounded by the love of her family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Crewe Crematorium Chapel on Monday, December 7 followed by burial in the cemetery.

FOLLOWING the announcement that both Cheshire East and Cheshire West councils will be placed in Tier Two at the end of lockdown, it's natural to assume that means the county will have a Tier Two Christmas.

Crewe passengers can get to Euston earlier at off-peak rates.

RAIL passengers travelling from Crewe to London are to benefit from big fair reductions after Avanti West Coast began trialling Friday as "off-peak" days.

The rail firm -which took over Virgin Trains' franchise on the West Coast Mainline last December - has removed Friday morning peak restrictions on long-distance journeys to and from London Euston starting from today (November 20).
